Change oil, grease it, check coolant, check for any loose hardware, RIDE. Better than the dealer will do for 300$.

As upnort said the first service is to change oil and filter and generally check over, air filter,cv boots, etc,NOT a $300 service! Read your manual and you will see most items such as tranny and front gearcase an annual service!

The dealer I took mine to for my first service just today said, a grease, oil change is all thats needed. I'm having them change the plug to an NGK right away and that was it.

my 1st service was free. all they did was check the tire pressure, check the throttel cable, lugnuts i beleve, and a few other thing. i had it back in about 15-20min. i say bring it in and do what there gona do for free, and do the oil change your self. i think its crap that back in 00 when i got my wheeler the oil change was free, and now it costs $50 for an oil change here. i did it my self it costed me $18 or you can get the polaris kit for round $25.

So guess it pretty much depends on the dealer. I have never taken any of mine in for service. Reading & following the owners manual pretty much covers it all.

The dealer was going to adjust the valves as well and this is why I've ordered the service manual, but by the sounds of it this may have been BS.
