I am trying to help a friend with a 2004 Polaris Predator 50cc. The problem seams to be a intermediate spark. When the quad is cold I get an intermediate spark, but if i play with the wires under the right front fender then try to start it,it will start. and run all day long with any problems. but when I let it sit for a hour or two then try to start it I'm back to no spark and have play with the wires again. When I say play with the wires I just shake them a bit or tap on them.The last time I just wiggled the wires coming from the stator and it started. I know it all sounds weird but if it was a bad wire the quad should turn off when riding from the quad hits bumps or just the vibrations. The quad is very clean almost like new. All the wires and connections are clean. I think it could be the stator but wouldn't the stator go out all together and not just sometimes work.
