600 twin extra fuel filter???

Can anyone tell me what this line is for and why it has a gas filter on it?? looks like its coming off the carb...

I think that is just a breather filter for the carb.

Ive been thinking about it and I think its to stop any dirt from getting down the line. Its a gas filter for sure, I just replaced mine 3 days ago and it looks the same.

Yeah it is a fuel filter, it is just used in a different application.

Good idea, I have never replaced mine either. You got everything you wanted done with it including adjusting the rear shocks?

I did, and the ride is so much better now. The daughter and I went out for Fathers Day all day. The bike ran great and felt good.
