What does it all take to install a Winch on a 2009 800 sportsmen?

 

tools ,mounting bracket and some of your time, not a real tough job to do but on my old po i had to remove plastic to run and secure the wires and mounted the solenoid in the back compartment behind the seat, I sure wouldnt have a dealer do its pretty easy just time consuming.

 

3 years on my extreme winch Plowing lots of snow and has pulled quite a few atvs out of mud holes only problem i had was 2 weeks ago it wouldnt work,cleaned all the conections (very corroded) and works awsome again! best 150 i spent! if it died today i wouldnt complain, my next one will be a warn most likely. best thing i did when i got it i pulled it apart and used lithium grease in the gears (grease was lacking) sealed the heck out of all wire connections with liquid electrical tape. does it help? who knows it still works.
