Default 04 sportsman 500 belt problem

i have an 04 sportsman 500. for some reason the drive belt flips inside out while is in motion high speed or low speed it doesnt matter which seems very odd do you guys think its the belt or the clutchs or a combination of both i ve talked to service guys at polaris and they have never heard of anything like it.

Is it a Polaris OEM belt on the machine? Check to make sure the clutches are allingned properly. that is weird though. Just my 2 cents.

I would eye ball it first to see if you are way off....with the clutch cover off and the machine idling see that the belt rides in the center of the primary clutch and the secondary spins slowly while idling....Keep hands/loose cloths away!! Check your engine motor mounts to see that one isnt cracked/busted.

I would make sure you don't have a broken or several broken mounts on the engine. You need a tool from polaris to check the alignement of the clutches. Also check the trans to make sure no broken bolts underneath. Personally I've never heard of this especially on a 400 sp there's not enough power to brake a mount on those units 16 hp engine there usually very dependable bikes WEIRD.
