Want to put Zilla's on my POPO
Hi there, I'm new to ATV's and to this Forum. I love reading everyone's comments and it's nice to see everyone band together when someone needs a little help. Anyway I have an 09 500 HO with X2 rims and am looking at getting some more aggressive tire's .
Will 27" Zilla's fit or will I need to flip the tie rod ends up front. I am planning on 9's up front with 11's in the rear.
Also does anyone know the proper way to adjust my tierods and what the proper toe is?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

I would avoid the washers, behind the wheels, because, IMO, the more threads of the nut you have on the stud, the better off you are, and I'm lookin to get either 27 or 28 zilla's, and in the 28's, the fronts come in 10 wide only, so just for the heck of it, I took one of my rear 11" wide PXT tires on the aftermarket Polaris Bruiser Rims, and put it on the front, and it fit just fine even with the springs compressed quite a bit, and the bars cranked all the way
But IMO, I'd flip the tie rods if neccessary, and avoid the washers, everyone I've talked to that have flipped the tie rods, have had no problems, just be sure to realign the front end, also if don't have the service manual, and want it, PM me your email, and I will send you the link to download it

I had to flip my TREs when I put 26x9s up front - they rubbed very slight, but figured it wasn't worth the risk. Sorry - this was on an 08 800 touring. Its pretty easy job to do. I just found at from the Polaris dealer that OEM specs are 1/8 - 1/4" toe out incase you forget to measure before hand.
