Default Trailblazer piston question

Which way does the arrow point on wisecos? Towards the front of the quad or the rear.

Thanks.

Thats why I'm confused. The exhaust comses off the front of the engine, while the carb sits on the rear. So I assume the arrow points forward, towards the front of the bike. Is that right?

the arrow always either points to the exhaust or to the mag side of the engine. (very easy to determine which one if you have less that two marbles rolling around freely in your head)

I was confused, sorry. That's why I asked a question. Figured out it points to the FRONT, or the exhaust PORT of the engine. When I read it points to the exhaust, I thought maybe towards the rear. Anyway, I got it right and breaking in the motor tomorrow. Thanks for your smart *** comment by the way.

For future reference, if there wasn't an arrow that Always goes towards the exhaust port, some pistons have a boost port cut into them on the intake side.

I always mark the top of piston center with a scribe (arrow) just for a quick check to be sure I remembered to put it in the correct way ! You can see it through the plug hole.----Proflow
