New poster here but I've been lurking for a while. Had a lot of questions answered without needing to ask. I bought my Sportsman new last year and decided to pick up a project. 2001 Scrambler 500 4x4. Are basic parts like A-arms, clutch (except springs and weights) etc. interchangeable with Sportsmans? Also, are rear axle components the same as Trailboss and Trailblazers of the same year. I'm watching Ebay and don't want to limit my search to Scrammy.

Probably a stupid question and I just need to do a little more research but when I look up the model of my machine, there are 2 listed, A01BG50AA & AB. On my vin, the A is followed by a 7.

ok,heres what the manual says. all models start with A. next two are the year(08)next two are chassis designation next two are engine designation (50)last two are emissions & model.

2008 sport 500 model # a08mh50ax,az

2008 sport 500 efi model # a08mn50af,an,aq,as,ax
