Default 2010 Polaris ATVs Being Introduced Tonight

Polaris is introducing its 2010 models to its dealers tonight at the Xcel Energy Center in downtown St. Paul, MN. The arena is the home of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild, and the news about the 2010 ATV line is pretty wild. Here is the lineup with brief notes:

2010 Polaris ATV Models

Full-Size Sportsman Models:
• Sportsman® 850 XP EPS
• Sportsman 850 XP
• Sportsman 800 Big Boss 6x6
• Sportsman 800

Mid-size Sportsman Models:
• Sportsman 550 EPS
• Sportsman 550
• Sportsman 500 H.O.
• Sportsman 400 H.O.
• Sportsman 300

2-Up Sportsman Models:
• NEW! Sportsman 850 Touring EPS
• NEW! Sportsman 550 Touring EPS
• NEW! Sportsman 550 X2
• NEW! Sportsman 500 H.O. Touring
NOTES: The 850 and 550 Touring models are based on the XP platform. One really cool new feature on the Sportsman 850 & 550 Touring EPS models is that the passenger seat has its own adjustable shock. Very cool and very comfortable. Plus, both models have Electronic Power Steering (EPS). There are dual tensioned cup holders, too!

The Sportsman 500 H.O. Touring is a Sportsman 500 H.O. reworked so it offers 2-up seating, and its MSRP makes it an outstanding value among 2-ups.

Entry
• NEW! Scrambler® 500 4x4
• NEW! Trail Blazer® 330
• NEW! Trail Boss® 330
• Phoenix™ 200
NOTES: The Scrambler, Trail Blazer and Trail Boss have been restyled, so they look sharp and distinctly more modern and sporty. They are also capable of accepting Lock & Ride accessories and they have brighter lighting and better brakes.

Outlaw® Models
• Outlaw 525 IRS
• Outlaw 525 S
• Outlaw 450 MXR
NOTES: The Outlaws have been redesigned and look very cool with a single headlight. They also have a lower center of gravity and 6-lb. weight reduction.

Youth Models
• RANGER RZR™ 170
• Sportsman 90
• Outlaw 90
• Outlaw 50
NOTES: All 2010 Polaris Youth models are compliant with current CPSC lead standards.

You can see all the 2010 Polaris ATVs and get full details at the Polaris website: www.polarisindustries.com.

I was looking at the Normal 500 H.O pics ...No new front end?
I also seen the stock tires and looked up the Specs sheet...they list them as 489?
They are different tread pattern then my 489 from 2006?
Does anybody know the tire manufacture of these?
Not Carlisle ......unless they change there 489's??

Besides the tires diffs on the XPs any new "features" or recall fixes?

I do like the new XP X2s, really cool, I didn't take to the Touring models but the new X2s look great and I imagine they have all the utility and more? MH, can weigh in here, lol.

The hint here about my post of the regular XPs are if NOT too much difference then maybe at the end of the year prices will come down on the 09's and make a little more affordable, IMO!
