My 250 trailblazer isn't charging. Put a new battery in it a month ago. Yes i charged it first, now its only got 8 volts. Atv starts right up with recoil. Checked voltage at idle got 10 volts at idle reved it up went down to 8 volts.

 

The 2 things you need to check are voltage regulator and the stator.Most likely the stator

 

Sounds like your stators goin bad

 

How do i check the stator and regulator?

 

Get a manual and a multi meter
