99 Polaris Magnum 500

My 4 wheeler has a new cooling fan,The bike gets hot,and the fan does not run all the time,It will kick on once in awhile,,,any ideas,,,,Mike

How do you know that it is getting HOT? Is the HOT light comming on on the pod? Is coolant overflowing the expansion bottle? Just a place to start i guess.
