C.V Clamp tool Questions?

If you buy a aftermarket boot set but decide you do not like the clamps only just go to a auto store place and buy quality clamps of the same dia., they can,t cost much even good ones.

i got aftermarket ones for my last wheeler. ill never get them again. they were the pull, bend, and cut clamp style. i got them as tight as i could and they still leaked out grease. never agin for me. as for the quality. i dot know as i didnt have my wheeler much long after that. i sold it.
i did use needle nose plires to install the oem ones. worked perfect. it always helps to practice. so before ripping the old boots and clamps of use a needle nose plires and practace on the old ones, before trying to install the new ones.
