Default tires

Hey guys! Got a hell of a deal on some itp mudlites at a shop going out of buisness. A pair of 25x8x12 at's and a pair of 26x12x12 xl's $220 out the door if I took all four. I was wanting a complete set of 25's which they did'nt have, but I could'nt pass up this deal. So my question is will running an inch taller in the rear affect my ride quality and four wheel drive when engaged. If it will, I will sell the 26's and get 25's I could probably sell them for nearly what I paid for all four. They would be going on a magnum with no speedo.

I bet you can trade someone a set of 25" for 26" on ebay. The ITPs are great. I have the 25" Terracross on my Sportsman and they are the best tire I have owned on an ATV.

Thanks for the input guys, I was thinking that staying with the same size front to rear would be best, but a second opinion does'nt hurt. Can anyone tell me if the mudlite's run true to their size? My stock tires are 11" wide but mounted and aired up to about 5-6 psi only measure about 9.75- 10. I set the 12" wide mudlite next to my stockers and holycrap that's wide! Will they narrow up after mounted or do they actually hold 12" after air up. If that's the case I might lean towards a 10" wide instead when I swap them. I really like the way my ride handles now and don't want to screw it up to bad.

i know the xtr's round up when aired vs when there flat or low pressure. 12' on back wouldnt be any issues as far as rubbing if thats what your worried about on most sportsmans. imo.
