Hi Kelly, just wondering how you made out with boring out your polaris, I have a 1996 polaris xpress 300, I ordered a namura piston 75mm bore, same size as yours, what did you find out from namura on the piston clearance specs, I can find anything on the web site other that they say they are compatible with oem specs

Manual shows piston to cylinder clearance to be between .0012-.0026. Service limit .006 When I bored and honed 2 stroke cylinders I tried to set them up around .0015-.002 final clearance. Always premix the first tank of break in fuel 50-1 along with using the oil pump. If you bypass the oil pump premix 40-1 with a good synthetic oil. A lot of piston manufacturers aren't suggesting any certain clearances just to protect them selves..

Default Namura contact info

Thanks a lot! The info you gave me matches the stock info from polaris, witch is good because if I can't get any specs from namura I will have to bore to these specs, although these specs are for the stock piston, not the over size namura piston.
Is there any one out there who has a phone number of contact info for namura? Tried emailing them Couple days ago but no reply

Just use clearance specs the manual shows on over size piston kits also. That's all I ever did with no problems and what a lot of manufacturers will tell you to do.The main thing is breaking in a top end slowly and no full throttle especially if you set the piston up tight.
