Default Carb help

How do I drain the carb on '97 400L?

Drain screw at bottom of carb bowl.

I guess by now, you noticed that the drain screw sets on the bottom of the carb, which in turn sets on the top of the engine. This means you will have to take it off the intake. To my mine, if you have to go this far, you may as well put some parts in it. Bottom line, it is not very handy... Nick

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!! I had 4-stroke carb on the brain not 2-stroke carb! I'm allowed,I'm 60 years old!! OPT
