Anyone out there ever made an insurance claim with excess of $800 in parts damage? I've got an 07 popo 500 and wondering if they'll total it or fix it? I'm pretty upset about it and I am afraid they'll total it, hit a deer again, this time had to bail and it went head on into a tree. last time got away unscathed, just bent the brush guard a bit.

 

id say let em total it then buy it back from them and fix it with the money you get. ebay the parts and the repair bill will come out cheaper

 

id probably agree with eggenz7 on his comment above. eBay the parts.. lot cheaper.

 

If they total it and treat you well use the cash to get into a 550 XP or 850 XP, even without EPS it is a much nicer feeling machine IMO.
