Scratches on red plastic.
#1
After washing my Scrambler last night that the red plastic scratches very easily. Is ther anything I can put on it to protect it a little better? Also what is the best way to remove the ones that are already there?

Thats just the way it is.
They get scratched.
The only way to smarten the plastic up is to scrub it using a scouring pad and gasoline then spray the whole thing down with wd40 it protects the plastic so it doesnt dry out and get brittle and it stops rust elsewhwere and protects the electrical stuff.
Ive used it on all my quads and Ive always got top dollar when it comes to selling them on.
Hope this helps .

I bought the polishing kit from Polaris...it's OK, but you can get the same (or better)results from a regular scratch remover from a parts store and a buffer. It helps some, but the easiest is to just shower it with a protectant (ArmorAll, 2000, etc.)
