I just rode my scrambler 500 4x4 today, and after i got threw riding and the boys i ride with noticed there was smoke coming from around the tail pipe.then i looked and it looked like it was coming from behind the headpipe guard b/c it was dripping down on it too.Oh yea it is a 2000 and about 4 months old.thanx for any help.

 

I accidentally over filled the Scrambler transmission once and after a hard days riding, it had blown some fluid out the vent tube.. It dripped sown on my exhaust also.... smells pretty bad as it burns... Anyway, just a thought.

 

I overfilled my motor with oil. After it warmed up it would blow it out of the vent tube on the right side. You have to wait till it warms up to see the oil come out. I thought i had a blown gasket but it was too much oil. Every time i looked at it was when it wasn't running so the oil would go back down the vent tube. So i wouldn't see where it was coming from. Let it warm up and look at all the vent tubes and i bet it's spraying all over the motor so it looks like it is coming from somewhere else.
