I have the Glacier 2 plow and I have had no problems with it. I know others on here think it maybe a bit weaker than other set ups, I guess it all depends how much snow you will be moving. I like it as it can be taken on or off in a couple of seconds, I'm sure there are other brands that do the same.

I'm a fan of the Glacier. I have a Glacier I that spent four years on my 05 800 and is now mounted on my 09 800 and upgraded to the RZR blade. Your 500 should push no problem. If you do a lot of plowing with it I'd suggest installing a clutch kit if you haven't already to add some low-end grunt.

I have a Warn Plow Setup, and yes it has push tubes, and is sometimes a pain to take on and off, but I don't usually take it off in the winter much any way, and IMO the push tubes distribute the force from the blade to the frame better, also on the topic of HD springs, mine did sag quite a bit, but most people I talked to that installed the HD Springs weren't too fond of the rougher ride with out the plow, so I and several others used spring spacers, that are 2" tall, and are made from 2" diameter Pipe, some used plastic, and I used metal, but I don't think that it really matters much, but my sagging is gone, and the ride is the same, my front end just sits level when I don't have the plow on, and if you want any pics or more info on anything, let me know
