Default Question from the new guy

My wifes got a 2001 trailblazer 250 and at 3/4 to full throttle it hesitates and loses power. I put a new plug in it and no help. What do you think? Coil, revbox? Any help would be great.

Thanks

did you check the carb main jet to see if partialy plugged or if the float leevl is correct? when you say hesitate, does it back fire, cut out like loosing fire, or bog out? how did the plug look that you replaced?

Have not checket the carb. It feels like its loseing fire. like when you have a bad plug wire or coil on a car. Only cuts out at a high RPM.

try holding down the over ride button when this happens. if it clears up then remove the black wire on the rev limiter box. might even just remove the wire to bypass the switch
