What about looking for a used low mile one. I purchased back in March a 08 SP800 w/150 miles on it for $5700 added my extras and just sold it for $6600.- After all was said and done I drove it for free & made some $$. Let someone else take the first hit. JMO.

I went to test drive the X2 today. What a great machine. I noticed that there are no bulbs where the reverse/work lights would be, but there are sockets for them. Salesman said he thought that they weren't available on the '09's. Does anyone know if this is true, or can I just add a switch and bulbs? I found it odd that there are sockets there, but no bulbs. I'm guessing they're already prewired though. Any comments appreciated.

A12, is there a switch on your headlight pod? My 2006 has a rocker switch on the headlight pod that you use for the reverse/work lights.

No switch on the pod, unlike what I have seen on older models. Seems like I jujst need to add the switch & lamps.

yes I had the dealer install for me when I had it in for P/M ...kit was 20:00 and it is a pure polaris kit. It was worth it for night riding.

I've used the lights for backing up and working in low light conditions. Worth the $20 in my mind if not included.
