Default Need stiffer springs 700 twin

So, Ive noticed with my wife and I on my 700, it sets very low in the rear(im the fatass here at 250 she only weighs 120). Anyways, we wanted to get out this weekend so today we went to the mountains, only thing is she said we had to take the dog. So i whipped up a box real quick added some lights, extended my exhaust and off to the mountains we went. Now, before the box was on, ya the squatting rear bothered me with bottoming out all the time, but the 3 foot extension to the rack plus a 80lb dog really makes the front end considerably lighter. I know I still need to add more bracing to it but that will not counteract the suspension squatting. Does anybody make a helper spring or stiffer springs that dont hurt the pocket. And heres the kicker, I have 4 broken vetebra and Im always sore, plus im 21 yrs old so i dont want somthing thats gonna be so stiff it puts me off an atv forever.

Red Neck,

Hey man, looks like you might have too much rear weight with the Dog and 2 passenger
IF you go up steep. Please be careful! I like the DOG box setup though, lab?

Don't know where you ride, but the safe way to do what you want is to sell / trade your atv in on the 2010 Polaris Ranger 400. IMO

Beagle/Lab cross, one of those accident puppies. When hes with us we just ride easy trails and roads. But i have noticed that even with just me climbing a hill the rear sets way to low.

Alot of the places I ride are to tight for the ranger, even the rzr, thats why i bought the used 700 (plenty of grunt). Im actually gonna get a big boss one of these days. But it still could use the heavier springs, just because with just me on it it sags (actually gets my sway bar to hit my muffler).

Have you adjusted the spring settings on that machine? Just a thought.

My dad has the exact same bike, and it squats bad too. I am looking for the same thing to help him out.
