Default How NOT to load your SP700 in the bed of a borrowed truck....

Yikes. Thank GOD this wasn't my machine or truck.

Notice the bed had bowed so badly it caved the cab of the truck in.

Turns out the truck had just been detailed and the bed had all that tire shine crap in it. Whoops.

Better luck next time.

whoops. Tried to put the quad in the truck slow & it spun the tires on the ramps. So light speed ahead I go up hit the brakes as soon as the front wheels go up the ramp - they lock up and I skid right through the rear window. BAM! POW! I could hear my wallet getting smaller as I blew the bed through the cab of the truck. Not a way to end my day. Least you guys can get a chuckle out of it.

Man that does suck. Doesn't surprise me much you got the glass (though looks like you tagged pretty hard to bend the bed!).

I don't give myself much hope in avoidng it for ever...

Could be worse. I heard about a guy, who watched a guy blow out his back window with his atv. Why his was worse, he had a new ford with a power rear window in it. Very very pricey to replace..

Had a helper knock out the rear glass on a Ford ranger about 10 years ago by trying to drive over the wheel humps! We hand load if necessary and show the new owners HOW to tie down their own machines so we dont ever have any more loading incidents! Also had a good boat wreck when we loaded up a double trailer with 2 SL780's around the same time, trailer came loose and both boats and trailer landed in a ditch 1/4 mile from the shop. The ball was STILL in the trailer tongue! Needless to say the owner knew he was the cause! All machines from the kids all the way up to the Ranger Crews and Rzrs,we have the owners see, inspect and have a hand in securing so there are NO problems OPT

Yikes! Learned my lesson on that when I watched my buddy load his SP500 in his truck that he had just installed the front bumper/grill guard on. Crunched the bed and blew out the window like the posted one did. I stand up concrete blocks in the bed so the wheels bump them and don't hit the window after witnessing that incident.
