Default Rad Fan Mod

Anyone out there set their rad fan up so they can shut it off when in deep mud? Also looking for the temp gauge and switch mod, Ive seen the kits online but Id rather put my own together so I know whats been put into my atv.

Thanks

That is an excellent idea, I know a lot of truck mudders have a manual turn off for the electric rad fan for deep water/mud crossings, the blades hitting the water at speed is not good for the fan. It would be easy to do, just interrupt the wire from the temp sensor with a waterproof toggle switch or rocker switch, maybe get a lighted one so when you turn it off, it lights up to remind you it is off ?
