The first ride on my 850XP
#1
I must admit that I am quite impressed with the 850XP. This is the smoothest quad I have ever driven. I took it on a 8 miles ride today both through the woods, fields and in a gravel pit. All I can say is wow!!! No belt noise, No rattling sounds, just pure clean power from start to finish. This quad handles like a dream, It turns with no effort unlike its older brother the 800.
I purchased a 08 SP 800 the beginning of the year becasue of a back issue. My prior quad was a Rincon 680. I loved the Honda but needed a softer ride. I thought becasue of SP800's soft seat it would be a better ride than the sporty XP. I was wrong. This is like night and day. I should have purchased the XP from day one.

I bought a 500x2 and a 850 XP this year, totally different feel, my xp feels like its floating compared to the new Sportsman, actually my wife claims she likes the X2 better..... I'm not going to argue on that one, I"ll just keep driving the XP then.... sigh

Great to hear you like it! I'm still hoping they come out with an X2 850 with power steering. I'd be a lot more likely to go for it then. On the Norweigen side of things, Mr. Thor's name would be pronounced Mr. Tore for all of you who were wondering... Just being obnoxious.

First to Kissimmee Florida for 2 years then north of Chicago in McHenry IL. I used to export motorcycles and cars back home for a large dealer and here was the best quality items with low miles in a 5 hour ratios.
