Default 91 250 big boss 4x6 carburetor problem

I have a 91 250 big boss 4x6 and it won't pull the gas from the fuel tank. The tank and lines are clean and had just cleaned the carburetor. if it sets long enough the gas will fill the bowl and filter up and it will run fine till it sucks what gas is in the bowl, filter and line then it stops. I was wondering on the carburetor it has three places for hoses two black fittings and one brass. these was all unhooked when I got it. I believe the the two black ones are just breather hole but what is the brass one for? could the float be in upside down cause it will fit both ways? If someone could tell me or send me a picture I would appreciate it.

if the carb has been apart than i would check the float just to make sure. have you took the hose off the carb to see if the gas flows good out the hose?

If I unhook the fuel line it will drain just like it should. As for the float when u put it in it should be level right cause if I turn it over it stick up a little and that seem like it would cut the gas off faster. with the carburetor setting like it should in the atv u can blow into it no problem and when you push the float up to where its level you can't blow into it. As for the fuel pump it don't have one its gravity feed.
