Want to get a new 400 scrambler but I keep hearing on the forum that they won't beat a 300ex
This sounds crazy, on some of the test I have read they say it will walk away from a banshee. Is this correct? I can not see why a 400 2strock should not be able to blow the doors of a 300ex and a warrior. The horse power should be a lot more than both 4 strocks. Tell me this is not true oh polaris Gods.... I want a 400 real bad tell me I can just laugh at the 300ex and other thumpers. I am not going to drag race I too old but it would be nice to know If a warrior gets in my way I can blow by it on like a fire road.. I have owned at least 10 warriors in my day and they did not seem that hot.

Thanks let me know all you 400 owners I want it hot and bad...

Banshee? I doubt it stock. I love the power mine has. Is it doggie? Not in my book, i was quite impressed with the amount of power on tap.

Not doggy at all. But I have one suggestion: Get a pipe put on from the get-go. I have a HPD trail pipe with matching clutch kit and the power is amazing. With that and a couple other minor mods I could get the holeshot on a Banshee and stick in front till he hit 3rd or 4th gear.

Not bad at all.

It'll take out a 300 but the banshee will eat you up.

300 and warrior no problem and I hung with the banshee through his 3rd gear and then he pulled away but I've beaten the other two so I don't think I'd call it doggy with a few mods the scramblers fly. Hot seat performance has a great 65hp kit and a few other things that will help you out aginst those banshee's.
