Default Polaris 400 dies at high rpm

I have a 2005 polaris sportsman 400 that starts flashing a battery light at about 2500 rpm and if you continue to go higher it just kills. Will not re-start unless the key is turned off then starts just fine. Has new ecm and battery was new this year. Cant figure it out

have you checked the battery voltage? maybe its not charging or some how discharging to the point it will cut off power and fire killing the engine? just a thought.

Voltage is good. The voltage was exceeding the 14 volt mark previous to the new ECM but it is still dying at high RPM w/ new one. Wondering if the circut breaker is bad. Not sure.
