This one is about 30 mi north of me, but lots more like it within a 50 mi radius. Easy & senic or harder and spectacular. I chickened out on one of the trails here when I had to go around a rock obstructing the trail with my left front wheel hangin off the edge on a 1000 ft vertical drop. No hero here!

Well it MUST BE NICE is all I have to say! No chance here with this dense populas around me. Yea, I hear ya about the chicken out thing with a 1000ft drop. With that scenerio you wouldn't even be around to wear the "Stupid Hurts!" Tee-shirt! A concept I can't seem to get some of my ego-feeding riding friends to grasp!

Regards,

R'

Nice pics - I'm all for playing chicken and getting to ride another day.

I had one buddy that was trying to figure out how to use a rope sling to stop his quad from slidding too far when trying to get across a snow drift across the trail in similar terrain to Mongrol's pics.

I told him his plan needed to include a hang glider or parachute! and recommended a rubber room as an alternative!

Proving you've got "huge but stupid Kahoonies" does you no good when you're dead.
