Default Fan-On Light/Switch kit

Just wondering if anyone has made their own version of the Fan-On Light/Switch kit from quadovator. I'd like to use a switch that matches the shape of my handwarmer switches but I'm weary of figuring out the wireing by myself.

I suppose it could be done with a 'lit' on/off toggle switch that had four posts, having the light not dependent on the switch position. I've looked but couldn't find such a switch.

I also emailed quadavtor about buying said switch but he never got back to me!

The switch Quadovator sells is just an off the shelf automotive lighted rocker switch. I still bought it from them because the price wasn't that much nore, and the instructions eliminates a lot of figuring things out. I don't know what your hand warmer switch is like, but look around Auto zone, Advanced, O'Rileys etc.

I don't think it would be hard to wire up the fan over ride part. But the light coming on whenever the fan is on, is the light just hooked up to the positive wire that goes to the fan? Is that what powers the light?

Maybe I will just order the Fan-on light/switch kit from quadovator and then buy my own switch to replace theirs. That way I have the proper instuctions and don't overlook anything. I'm handy with 12v electics but no expert. Although I'm sure that their switch is of higher quality.

I guess I'm just vain and what stuff to match.

I wonder if they would just sell me the wireing and instructions at a discount?
