Hey,
A buddy of mine just bought a 08 Sportsman 800 and he had a couple questions so i told him i would ask on here. First, how big of tires can this atv handle comfortably without causing issues with axles and driveline? second, when he first starts to take off the atv has a "clunk". it is slack in the driveline, you can look at the driveshafts and roll it and see it. I'm just wondering if it is normal for this atv?

i have 27" tires w/ out any issues(but i have after market rims for the off set) and yes the clunks are some what normal. however the transmission plug is too long and is rubbing onthe silent chain in the tranny(research the post and you'll see info including my pic of it) other then that the drive line does have a fair amount of back lash.
