$310/ yr, full coverage for 850XP.

Includes higher medical payments. Something to think about, huh?

I believe that the cost of a plan varies just like any other policy. Amount of coverage and deductibles and driving record. For me I live in Ohio and the laws are somewhat unclear. My bike is covered under my home policy which also includes theft. Not to worried about collision as I mainly ride with a few friends on 250acres of private land. If I want to ride on state property then I will need to purchase additional insurance mainly to have collision. Then again the state rangers don't check either.

I got three quotes recently within the past month; Progressive at $240, Polaris (Assurant) at $270, and then the third was through USAA at $320 all are rated for one year term and lowest deductible at $250 This was for only my 09 850XP
Hope this helps

I am an insurance agent and price is going to flucuate a ton just based on location alone. Then add in amount of coverage, deductibles, endorsements and number of policies are all going to effect the rate. Here in MN, my '03 600 Twin with $250 deductibles and coverage for all my extras with 100/300/100 limits is $111 a year. I had an electrical fire last year that would have cost me $1800 but instead I paid the deductible.

Definitely worth it! I pay $140 for everything.

If your brother in law/buddy/co-worker/kid rolls it down a hill, now you can sit back and laugh your *** off (assuming he gets off it), then go home call your insurance agent, and start choosing the color of your new quad!

I have a 2007 Sportsman 800 Delux.
I have insurance from Progressive.

Property Damage Liability $50,000
Uninsured Motorist $50,000 each person/$100,000 each accident
Comprehensive $250 deductible
Collision $250 deductible
Accessory Coverage $3,000
My cost is $100.00 per year. Well worth it.

I checked under my home ins. for both my sleds and ATV's......NOT COVERED!!
The only stuff that is covered in my garage under the home Ins. is anything that is used only on the Property.
So if my garage burns to the ground the sleds and Atv's need a separte policy.
I pay around 290.00 each full coverage Canadian Funds remember,

The agent also told me the ATV's are not covered if they fall of the trailer being towed,
...Caper.......
