Well I am glad to see the dealers fix these issues! I just hope Polaris doesn't get another black eye like they did on the Hawkeyes. If ya all remember it was when those first models came out too just a couple years ago. I think the BIG issues here though is when you purchase a XP for all the $$$ you expect more with engineering in addition to all the cool improvements. -- IMO

I'm glad to see they are fixing these issues too. I paid some good money for this machine and to be quite honest, a little disappointed that there have been issues like this already, however, the dealer is honoring I have only 300 miles on my machine and it's been well taken care of.

At least the dealer is responding and not giving me a hard time.

I will keep everyone updated on this.

IB,

When I bought my brand new 2008 last year I paid $7639 (Had to drive 2hrs away for this deal) any of the places up here in MD would of been an easy $1500 more plus taxes. So thats alot of dough. In your case you spend about almost 3k more and in either case none of us should have those MAJOR issues (Axles etc.) dangerous! Lots of disappoint HWKeye owners I remember and they only paid half of what I paid. So they shouldn't see those issues either but the $$$ is great points to make (you, me and others). -- IMO

To add to that its just not the single price of the ATV purchase but all the extras too. As for me I gave my dealer over another $1500 or more in parts/accessories (winch, plow, bumpers, racks, cargo box, gun scabbard), filters/change kits, helmets etc.

Plus I brought down my two cousins (Bought 3 quads Sp800 to boot), Uncle (Sp700), Friend (bought 2 quads). And on top of that they all buy their goodies from him too, so my own personal business I have filled his pockets some. But I will say this, he took care of my for my warrenty repair when another Dealer I mean Stealer took advantage of me and lost my business forever! I would buy another brand ATV if it meant to only buy Polaris from that jack--- . lol

Cheers,

R'

I paid 8,200 for my machine, which in my opinion was a pretty good deal, but, paying that kind of money on an ATV, or even if you buy something cheaper, shouldn't have these kind of issues, period!

When I finally get my machine back, I expect it to have 0 issues so we shall see.

Dealer got my recall done, but axles are backordered till Nov. 5th. Just when I need them. Wish they would have known that before I brought it in. This has been known for almost a year now. Polaris should have them more readily available. I'm going to pick my machine up and have them call when they come in. I need my machine for hunting next weekend.

"Parts are the issue. It took over 2 weeks to get them for me. That was last month. Best of luck. "

I told you so. ;-)
