Hey, new to the forum. My 500 is bone stock as far as I know, I was talking to a guy who said he changed the jets and air filter and made his quite a bit faster. Does anybody know what size jets will work best to speed this thing up, not to worried about fuel economy, just want better performance. I'm in central Kentucky so elevation is not an issue. Its mostly used for pushing cars around the shop and hunting, but I do the ride trails occassionaly.Thanks in advance for any help.

 

changing jets will make it run richer, not have more power. you would have to change filter and exhaust to gain a little bit of hp. changing the clucthing will give you more bottom end while taking top end or vise verse depending on what you want . imo
