Default Back from a family trip to the Cheese Trails

We went to the Cheese Trails in Wisconsin this weekend. We got there around 10am. It was 68 and sunny! Checked in to the new Super 8 in Darlingtion, unloaded the toys and off we were. I was so excited to see that Fayette trails were open. We stopped at the local Fayette water hole for there 2 dollar double Jameson special we were ready to explore the area. We ended up driving that part of the trial for almost 5 hours looking at the different sights. I always love to visit the old church on the hill. Lots of old original Norwegians from the 1800's.

We made it back to Darlington for dinner around 5.30 and then back to the Super 8 around 7.30. Then off to the hot tub and pool for a hour of relaxation.

Next morning we were off around 9 am Stopped at the trail by Calimine so Espen could play with is cars for a few minutes and then off to Belmont for a soda and some beef jerky. We then headed for Mineral Point for some much needed lunch & made it back to the hotel around 3.30 then home.

The weather was perfect! It was around 70 and sunny. Nicole had a great time. This was her last trip til next year after the new baby is born.

Great pics. Looks like fun all around. Hoping to get out next weekend and try the new XTRs in the mud/waterholes in NH. Not sure yet.

How do those trails compare to Black River Falls? I didn't know there was any trails south ? Good to hear! Do they close any time soon? Or I mean how long are they open?

They do not compare at all. Great for a family with a small one or with first time riders or a pregnant rider like my wife. Lots of food and drink stops. But no real excitement. BLF's is much more fun. Just google cheese trails for more info.
