Default cooling fan

i have a 2000 sportsman 500.i need to order the cooling fan turn on switch. is it called the thermal switch. just dont want to order the wrong part. jump it out and the fan comes on.

If you jumped the fan and it works then the fan is not the problem, it will be a bad connection between the thermal switch and fan or the thermal switch itself.

If you splice your old thermal switch plug connection to a automotive thermal switch it will work. The switch from a 84-89 Nissan Maxama and a 86-89 Nissan Stansa will work.

I,m using a Blue Streak TS-127 right now. A Wells SW526 and Napa FS147 will do it also.

Thats if Your 2000 had a Polaris 4010161 switch.
