I was riding yesterday and the atv started making a wining noise when you take off. Sounds like bad bearings, but i dont know. I wanted to check trans fluid but dont know were the dipstick is. And is there a drain so i can just change the fluid.

Thanks in advance

Drain plug on left side of gearcase close to bottom, fill plug bolt on right side top behind floorboard. Fill with AGL to bottom of threads in case. Whining noise could be from bearings or chain needs to be adjusted OPT Ingleside huh? Hope you'r house is on stilts!! At least no hurricanes this season. Have an old high school friend that lives there now.

This is totally wrong! You use a chaincase lube in the tranny. These are chain driven not gear driven and need proper oiling

Agl is polaris oil for tranny, it is a thin oil, like motor oil, do not use 80 - 90, I use 5-30 synthetic in mine , other people dont like this but I have alot of miles on mine several others that I service and they are doing fine, 5w-30 Castrol synthetic, engine and tranny, 6000 miles, no troubles.
