Chuck is right on the money. NOT easy to take on and off. Let's just say that it goes on and comes off when required. Don't listen to the Polaris BS about the "ease" at which it installs. As mentioned by Chuck....lots of wire and brake pipes in the way that have to be pulled, moved and rerouted just to get the thing on the bike, then you have to massage it to get it the way you like it.

I have both the short and the tall clear one. Short for summer and tall for winter. Wouldn't ride without one. I can move my head into the main airflow of the short one and the velocity is substantially stronger. It certainly helps without getting in the way too much. The big one in winter is an absolute must.

I currently have the low profile and like it. Doesn't offer near the protection of the tall ones. Had one on my 02 700 and took it off because it got pretty scratched up from riding in the woods. Great protection in the cold though!
