And since He had to add an old pice of scrapiron to keep the plow from riding over drifts here is how I solved that problem,1 and 1/2" square tubeing X 16" capped one end then poured it full of lead then capped the other end,I made 2,one for each side just to keep Him on the level.LOL

Nice job!

I see you've also had the cable come lose at the clip before... three clamps to hold the loop!

look to be a moose plow.

ill also agree with stendori. stronger than the plow.

either that DCT or he made his own cable. i did that on mine for my plow when i had the steel cable on it. but i only used 2 clamps. never can be too strong. lol

Had a bunch of snow lastnight/this morning and He called and said the plow worked great.
He said the weight was just right.
The new hook eye is located differently so it is pulling at a better angle than the old eye.
He was lifting the plow so it would be tight against the under carriage of the weeler and I told Him to not raise the plow as high as it will create a severe strain on the cable/eye and will eventually fray the cable again.
By lifting as high as He was it will have a severe amount of pressure on the push arms hooked to chassis as it will be trying to pull the plow works straight back towards the rear of the machine.
Time will tell.
