Scramblers are great sliders. Very fun. Top speed? One day I was radar gunned at around 65 mph by our local cop. Not too fun. With good tires a 2wd will do pretty good in mud and snow.

I own a 2000 scrambler 400 2x4, you don't even have to try to get it in a slide, I've had mine side by side of my dual sport (has speedo) and was recorded at 70mph on pavement. Mud, snow, gnarly hill climbs, I'd be lucky if I got stuck.
Look at it this way what other machine gives you the looks, speed, and performance of a sport quad and also the torque, work capabilities, and comfort of a utility quad.
It don't get any better then that!!!

They're great quads. You won't find anyone in the forum that actually OWNS ONE that doesn't love it ( With the possible exception of Jack Shultz ). The people that down rate them have probably never ridden one, much less owned one !!!
