Oh another side not I have crunched this flares a few times in tight trails against trees and they have held up well you can't tell anything happened other then some light scuffs from branches etc but you have to look for it overall very happy with the quality and fitment/looks etc.

Looks sweet! does it really keep a lot of the mud and snow off your machine???

I put aftermarket rims/tires on and they stick out much further then stock 2-3" per side from stock fenders so I was eating a lot of mud and this is a huge improvement but my rear tires still stick out past the flares a bit (54"+ width) and the fronts still kick up a bit under the flares where the floorboards don't cover but it is much better than before and am very happy with the fitment/quality/looks.

This is what it used to look like riding without the flares.

Okay maybe not that bad but you can see the brown mud/water line on my machine compared to how clean the stock bike is riding the same trails probably only 10 miles at this point. Also a back shot to show the difference in width vs stock.

Anybody know if the extensions would fit on a 08 X2? I didn't see any listed at the recommended websites.

I would guess the fronts would all be the same for any of the 08 models, but the rear extensions are the question. It would be great to have a set to use with the tracks.

KW: You are the man! Thanks for the information and the great pictures.

I appreciate all of the comments and the help from all of you. I have ordered some of these flares and will add my comments once I have them installed.

Thanks again.

Those pics are from the Foothills of the Rockies in an area just West of Calgary, Alberta from back in mid-October I drove out to visit some buddies. One guy took my XP for a spin and 4 days later he owned the one in the pics.
