Wheels for Ice riding???

Default Wheels for Ice riding???

Ok guys here goes I have a 2004 polaris pred 500 I am in the process of purchasing 4 new wheels for my studded maxxiss ice tires for running on the rivers and lakes around here in the winter what I would like to know is does it matter whether or not I use steel wheels or stick with aluminum wheels what would you do?

when you go to the forsale section, try looking back in the days and you'll see some adds. it's down to the left hand side and put in like 10 days or more to see adds.

Can't imagine it matters. Get whatever is cheaper. You could just use your regular tires and stud them. Those Maxxiss look pretty cool though. I'd add studs to them as well.

Well I was just concerned with wheel weight. Steel is a little cheaper but not by much a couple of bucks to go to the aluminums. The maxxiss were my stock tires and they have been studded since the first winter after I bought the qaud in 04
