Wheels for Ice riding???

Ok guys here goes I have a 2004 polaris pred 500 I am in the process of purchasing 4 new wheels for my studded maxxiss ice tires for running on the rivers and lakes around here in the winter what I would like to know is does it matter whether or not I use steel wheels or stick with aluminum wheels what would you do?

Well I was just concerned with wheel weight. Steel is a little cheaper but not by much a couple of bucks to go to the aluminums. The maxxiss were my stock tires and they have been studded since the first winter after I bought the qaud in 04
