Default T-BAP wire harness bad again!!

A bunch of us went for a Camp and ride this New Year’s weekend and it happened again. The wire harness to the T-Bap sensor rubbed through the insulation and shorted out. Some of you may have read a past post of mine regarding a fix I was trying, it did not work. I was, as in the past able to make repairs so not to ruin the trip but this is getting old. This will be the 4 wire harness that has been installed for this or for the solder joints failing. All have been replaced under the warranty but now I’m being told even with the 5 year extended warranty I will have to pay the $50 deductable. Has anybody been able to get any kind of answers out Polaris? I have e-mailed them 2 times for this and got the standard “see your dealer” form letter.

Default T-BAP Sensor

I am on my 3rd replacement, the sensor is always good.
After buying one I took and soldered heaver wire to the male terminals and silicone the connector, spiced the wires. Have not had any problems since.
