Default X2.....Tight Brake Pads?

Howdy all......Just removed my front tires and rims from my 2007 X2. I noticed that the brake pads are incredibly close to the rotor.....to where it looks like the pads are actually touching the rotor. I can turn the hub but there's a bit of resistance....don't know if normal or not........??? Thanx......NoJoke

just like any disk brake set up on a car or what ever the pads do touch the disk at all times. there should be a little resitance from them touching. how ever they don't want to be sticking where they are actually dragging. a good way to check is w/ the tire on, spin the wheel and touch the brakes real quick and release to see if the wheel will stay spinning some. if the brakes were grapping too much the wheel pretty much wouldn't turn very easy. imo

About the same as my X2 fronts. A little resistance when in neutral.
