I would like to know if the 2005 sportsman 400 size is any different than the larger cc atvs? Thanks

 

No the 400(425cc) Sportsman of that year had the same full size chassis as the largest Sportsman which was a 800 I think.

The newer 400 H.O (455cc) Sportsman is a smaller chassis ATV.

As TLC said, the 2005 Sportsman 400 was the same size as the 500 and up machines.

 

except for the newer haweye or sp.3 and 400, pretty much all the sportsmans had the same set up except the engine if that helps ya.
