Default Any thoughts..

am able to get my trailboss 250 started now pretty easily and it will hold idle..issue is it will bog down to a stall if hit the gas...90% of the time..however every few minutes is will go full throttle and stay there albeit shooting some sparks through exhaust flange..could this issue be the crank seal or is it more of a carb issue...any info would be great...and other question is if i am getting decent grinding trying to shift into gears how big of a project am i in for...

if it's holding high idle after you let off the throttle and won't idle down then it sounds like you may have an air issue. as far bogging goes when you try to throttle it up and it's bogging, try choking it while you throttle up to see if it's worse or better and get back to us. grinding is usually becuase of the idle is too high. imo
