Nice mdv.....that rear horizontal mount looks perfect. I guess vertical could be a problem in some cases, where ground clearance is an issue. Don't want to smash your bar on a boulder. Thanks.

FR,

I really like the horizontal too! Be nice on the front or rear rack extender it would mount on Polaris that way? I agree with your assessment on the vertical. But do you need to sacrifice the rear hitch to rear mount this thing? (Go Ravens!)

Cheers,

My buddy has a vertical mount on the back of a little 300 and has had no problems with hitting the bar it really works great and does not take up any rack space so you can still load the racks up full with other stuff.

Hummm. Sounds like either would work. Was thinking the same as R, that I would not like it taking up the trailer hitch.

If you take a trip of any distance, somebody has to carry a saw....I guess a really sharp ax and a hand saw would work. I used my crappy little handsaw twice last year and almost had a damn heart attack trying to cut a tree out of the "trail".

I made my own for about $5.00 and it can be adaptable to almost any machine. He is a pic for now and I have some detailed ones if I look. It works better than any of my buddys commercial ones and the saw is out in seconds.
