Airbox Mod for 2000 TrailBlazer
#1
I was thinking of doing the home airbox mod on my 2000 Trailblazer. I heard this will really improve the bike's performance, but am reluctant to do so without knowing exactly what this mod entails.
Can anyone help by providing details on how this is done?

I would have E-mailed the instructions to you privately ,but your E-mail is not shown here . Drop a E-mail to me and I will Email you some instructions .
By the way , a Scrambler or Sport airbox will drop right into a Trailblazer. These can be made to work a lot better , and can be purchased for $150 - $200 depending on your dealer .

O.K., take the snorkel and cut it back to where it fattens out(just behind the curve), cut the tube that runs through the filter back to an inch or so, and drill a few holes right in front of where the the snorkel slips on over the lid(the only place for the air to go through the filter before it hits the carb), and remove the rubber plug on the bottom tube of the box. Re-jet, and I'm sure you'll notice the difference, along with a little louder "sucking" sound. Enjoy!!!!!!
