I have a 1998 trail blazer that has been modified. It has been ported,the head has ben milled,it has a 38mm carbkit,kn air cleaner,bored .40 over and a clutch kit. What else can be done?

I am just assuming you forgot to list it, but does it have a pipe?

I guess shaving weight will help. Eliminating the oil injection, battery and starter (pull start could get old though), and replacing floorboards with pegs and adding aluminum rims is some weight saving mods I can think of.

One Dollar, Can you tell me where I can find out about getting rid of my floorboards for footpegs?

There was another member here, Jim I think, that did it to a Scrambler 400 which has the same floorboards. It was in an old topic where he had some pics. Look here: shaving weight on scrambler

So if i'd lose that 40lbs i've been needing to drop, my quad would be that much faster huh? Hmmmmmm. Slimfast might be looking better all the time
