I would say that I would definitely pick the Scrambler over the ex for trail riding around here. There is no way a 2wd atv can make it thru a trail around here with out being pulled out several times. Maybe the ex is better on dirt roads and trails with no deep mud, creek bottoms and hills. I just cant buy into the idea its a better trail bike. Too many trails demand 4wd.

 

I wouldnt trade my SC for anything. It does alot of things very well on the trails. I am in the market for another quad and my very long list has the EX on it. I have some concerns about the EX and the type of trails I ride also. I have been thinking about a sport quad recently but just cant find the one that pushes all the right buttons. Raptor to expensive and I cant think it would do very well on the tight trails. 400 EX is a nice ride but man do I like reverse. Warrior has the right combination of things but it is so dated. Anyhow I will put up no arguement as to the SC being a great all around trail ride.
